This CPR course focuses on swift decision-making to identify and evaluate cardiac emergencies, seek medical assistance, and perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
The course aligns with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and teaches essential skills such as using automated external defibrillators (AEDs), seamless rotation of first aiders during compressions, and how to handle regurgitation or vomiting in the patient.
Additionally, the course addresses conveying accurate incident details to emergency services, reviewing incidents, recognizing psychological impacts on oneself and other rescuers, seeking assistance if needed, and enhancing personal skills and response times.
